Questions, answered
How accurate is the estimator?
It uses published U.S. planning ranges and a site-conditions adjustment. Your real price depends on materials, pattern, access, slope, drainage and local requirements.
What is not included?
Permits, engineering for taller walls, drainage, lighting, gas and electrical, kitchens, fire features and structures are priced separately. The Backyard Planner adds those for a whole-yard range.
Why is natural stone more expensive than pavers?
Stone costs more as a material and takes more time to fit piece by piece. Many owners use stone for focal areas and pavers for the rest.
Do you offer phasing?
Yes. We can phase work over time so you build in stages. Ask about options during your free visit.
