Segmental Block Retaining Walls

Interlocking concrete block walls in clean lines or gentle curves, in colors and textures that suit any home.

What it is

The details, in plain English.

Segmental retaining wall blocks interlock without mortar, flex slightly with the ground and install precisely. They come in many textures, from tumbled stone to smooth modern, and in colors that coordinate with pavers and brick.

We build them with the manufacturer's recommended footing and drainage, add geogrid for height, and finish with matching caps and corner pieces. Gentle curves, steps and integrated lighting are all possible.

Best for

  • Clean, consistent look
  • Curved and straight runs
  • Taller walls with geogrid
  • Matching pavers and block

Good questions

Questions, answered

Block or stone: which is better?

Block is faster, consistent and very strong. Natural stone gives character. We show both and help you match budget and style.

Can the wall curve around my patio?

Yes. Segmental block is excellent for curves, which suit patios, fire pits and gardens.
